You will be enthralled by the delicate silica terraces, bubbling mud pools, unique geothermal vegetation and the worldrenowned Pohutu Geyser, reaching heights of up to 30 metres. Te Puia aims to preserve the heritage of the Māori people and their culture and is home to the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute.
